Softwares
I have created with Sébastien Lê and I am developing with Sébastien Lê and Julie Josse, two packages in the software R. These packages deal with multivariate exploratory data analysis and Sensometry and make available the advanced methodologies developped in our department.
FactoMineR
The package FactoMineR is dedicated to multivariate exploratory data analysis. Several methods are implemented, the most classical (PCA, Correspondence Analysis, Multiple Correspondence Analysis, Multiple Factor Analysis) as well as some advanced methods (Hierachical Multiple Factor Analysis, Mixed Data Analysis, Dual Multiple Factor Analysis). A Graphical User Interface is also available.
missMDA
(with Julie Josse) The package missMDA is dedicated to missing values in Multivariate Data Analysis. It allows to perform a PCA (for continuous variables) and a MCA (for categorical variables) on incomplete datasets. It allows to impute continuous and categorical data and to perform Multiple Imputation with and in PCA.
SensoMineR
The package SensoMineR is dedicated to the analysis of sensory data. A lot of procedure allow to describe the products from a one- and a multi-dimensional point of view, to evaluate the performance of a panel, to make preference mapping ...
